Mitochondrial Mitophagy in in Vivo

There are some rearly cool things that are available now with a, a couple of reporters that have been recently developed. One called mite kima and another called mitr c c a. Both they're slightly different, but both of them tag mitochondria with a florescent tag. So you can visualize the extent of mitophagy in invivo. And so we're looking at what are the direct substraits of parkin and us p 30? What are the other mitocondrial components that are always there when they're until they're degraded? That area, i think me may translates well into the clinic.
