Aspiration, Pneumonia or Slash Neumanitis?
If someone has an aspiration of vent, but you don't yet know they have a pneumonia, you don't need to just throw that person on broad spectrum anti biotics. There was no mortality difference between the early antibiotics and the people where they delayed antibiotics or didn't give it at all. And i think this just tells us that we should be comfortable in most cases,. Just if they have an aspiration event, you don’t necessarily have to just smash that person with anti biotic.
