Is the Ruling Class Going to Win This?

The ruling class will create a structure that will be undone by the end of its relationship to its environment. That's what is the alter ative to a doomed capitalism. Because, as we said, it can only pursue the interests of those within it. But that assumes that those externalities will not come back. They can't be priced in. And so we've reached the point where, ok, we're oing to get the conflict. The reason the working class, is going to win this is because solidarity in the face of collapsing social conditions will beat the undermined social order that can no longer be sustained.
