Lewis says that somewhere doste is that we're only logical, right? And that we keep thinking everything has to be logically apprehended. But i think one of the messages of this book is there are many, many things that are real and true and good that you are never going to be able to understand. You can't say understanding is the ultimate aim. That is what modern man says. We tindesmones to think, i will believe what i can understand, which means we have elevated our reason to our ultimate source.
