Why You Shouldn't Name Your Layers
"I think that naming your layers sets yourself up, especially if you do it immediately," he says. "You're going to have to go back through and like name that stuff well in a way that like any one of them could be usable, right? I don't know why, why, why does a named layer make it usable?" He continues: "If you name your layers as you make them, then any subsequent duplication or exploration of those things inherits all of your good work."
