The Resurrection of the Dead Is an Outright Defiance of the Sanhedrin

Peter and John were arrested for proclaiming resurrection in the name of this same Jesus. This is an open defiance of the mandate of the Sanhedrin, who made sure he was killed. They lay hands on Peter and John and they bring them into the jail but many had heard the message. The message of the gospel took hold and people were saved.
