How Long Should We Be Out There Tanning?

We tend to view ourselves as fire fighters, putting out one fire after other throughout the day. If we don't allow ourselves the capacity to react when a new fire happens, then we're going to get overwhelmed. A good range to aim for is about 60 to 80 % capacity. And another great way to look at the capacity and the slack in the system is by thinking about what you might be able to give you extra time for.
