Quantum entanglement is when two particles are connected in such a way that they actually form a single system. If you see one particle and measure its properties, you will immediately instantaneously know the properties of the other particle which is like light years away. It's spooky action at a distance faster than light travel of information looks like it appears like it is so, but it's not quite, quite the red, what it is.
