Is Your Checking Account Overdrawn?
You and your wife very explicitly made the decision, hey, we want to pay some extra to principl. Paying one extra payment to principle wasn't going to run your checking acount down to zero. But it sounds like paying two, this inadvertent thing, ran it into the negative. Because you got to insufficient funds. So i proactively gonphoned to call them and try to look into it. And in this case it was more just of a timing issue and that sort of thing.
