Aquinas's Argument for Divine Immutability
Aquinas arrives at this through a three stage progression from being to perfection and then to goodness. Goodness implies desire ability, Desire is always of something perceived to be perfected or perfected. Something is called good in the fullest sense when it reaches its ultimate or final actuality.
