Hank Smith: John, the question that we have this week is it's sinful to be rich. Jesus says in Matthew 19, after having this exchange with a rich man who couldn't sell his possessions, he says, oh, barely I say to you that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And what the scriptures teach over and over again is not so much that you have riches, but if your heart is set on your riches, instead of your heart set on God.
In this video, Hank Smith and John discuss the question of whether it's sinful to be rich, exploring the meaning of Jesus' words about the difficulty of a rich man entering the Kingdom of Heaven and the importance of where one's heart is focused. Join them for an engaging conversation about money, faith, and priorities.
