Images and Idols in Psalm 97

Even if the world forgets, God still reigns. In today’s episode, we enter one of the most joyful and theologically rich sections of the Psalms—an eight-psalm block (Psalm 93–100) focused entirely on the reign of Yahweh. But it’s more than poetic praise—it’s a return to order, worship, and glory. Drawing from 1 Chronicles 16, we discover how Psalm 96 echoes David’s restoration of God’s throne in Jerusalem.
