The Sassoon Family in Bombay
There was always a Jewish community in India going back to 14 15 16th century coming from different places, some which really kind were considered the local they called Benaysa. And so there was a presence that it's we're talking about very small number. What is really important when David sassoon arrived with his young family there in 1838, 1831, he did not know anyone and definitely there was no member of the community that he can turn to. Okay. So you get the sense the family is doing so well. There are these political machinations happening. They flee, they go to Bombay and Bombay is another place that comes out so richly in your book in terms
