The Importance of Labels

The main reason people would want to rebel against labels is if someone says well you're a rationalist so you must believe X and Y. Once you do that then you don't have to worry about the labels nearly as much. That's why I think you can just skip to labels but it's nice because then you can have a rationalist meetup with no vaguely what kind of people are going to show up.
