I Don't Like This Person, You're Out of the Jury
The judge will pre screen the questions to make sure that you are asking legal, an lawful questions. One is a peremptory challenge and essentially that means, i don't like this person, you're out of the jury. You cannot strike people on the basis of race. And so once you raise a question, if you'v struck somebody and there's a concern that this person was done on the base, was struck on the based of race, then you're going to have to show that there was a non racial reason why you struck the person.
