How to Trade a Counter Trend
I have an extreme level, high level knowledge of all of the characteristics of my current strategies and I can look at an equity curve and know exactly where my weak spots are. For instance, in futures, I knew I was getting a little bit more drawdown than I wanted on my longer term trend following model. So I set out to develop what I call a counter trend, which is very short term action with 26 markets. It does take me a little time to get through it every day. We're trying to automate that as well, but it's been materially beneficial.
