Dave, dave spoke with us about the importance of diversity in apple farming. He said that as time has changed consumer, the consumer likes a sex the apple. Red delicious was the number one produced apple in Washington state for 15 years before it became more popular. Dave: We prune all winter and we use chemicals to get every flower on an apple tree growing.
