The Reformation in the British Isles

Knox illustrates something that we might see as a more general feature of what we should not call British Reformation. So English and Scottish Reformation or Reformation, which is this connection to what's been going on with the continent. The islands which make up the archipelago, which are now often called the British Isles, they're not that important. And they are reacting to something which was happening in central Europe, Northern Germany, Switzerland, et cetera.
