The Limits of Desire
For me value itself has been one of the most challenging concepts, not only just in Marx's work, but even with Delus and Guattari. I get the impression that surplus is what is appropriated from, you know, women, the colonies, etc., so that being like the source of a surplus value. And capital needs for that to be the case because it feeds on those new desires. So whatever is assigned to value, desire will always outstrip whatever that assigned activity is.
