There are always the unexpected bugs. You think you've written a program that just does this, but actually something happens that you didn't expect. That's kind of a side effect of this phenomenon of computational irreducibility. One of the things about economics is, is there a way of sort of controlling things to the point where nothing unexpected will ever happen? I don't know exactly when Hayek and people like that were writing about similar kinds of issues in economics.
