The Primal Merger With the God and Cannibalism

When we start looking at, after the break, when we'll be thinking about what's going on with an ego which will try to eat all of the victim. We can think about that a little bit in terms of addictive process. Cannibalism is one form of that, where you gather together and you eat your victim. I think you see a beginning of differentiation when you see this thing about eating part and offering part. And we'll be trying to think about that more psychologically later. But there's a very, very powerful sense of the primal merger with the God and cannibalism.
