The Ceramics and the Arts of the Nasca
The nasca are famous for their polychrome slip painted ceramics they are absolutely stunning and very sophisticated very beautiful. In the early to mid nasca phases so 100 BCE to 500 CE there's an emphasis on agriculture perhaps unsurprising again i'm talking about how important agriculture is fertility plants animals, riverine environment that they lived in. Late nasca around 500 to 650 CE there's a shift to more militaristic themes and a focus more on the individual rather than these animals and other figures suggesting an increase in conflict which we'll discuss later.
