The FIB4 Score and Fibrosis in Patients With HIV and Hepatitis C Co-Infection
The FIB4 score was initially developed for assessing the amount of fibrosis in patients with HIV and hepatitis C co-infection. More recently, it's been shown to work very well in fatty liver disease. Any non-invasive measure of fibrosis tends to be fairly good on the margins when it comes to detecting whether a patient has fibrosis.
