Kiran Cirensetia is a philosopher at m i t, and also an old friend of the show. Kiran wrote a book some years ago called knowing right from wrong. He argued that humans, by their nature, in all its rich evolutionary history are designed to know right fromwrong. If anyone talk me out of my view of the inherent selfishness of human motivations, it was curand kiran cirensetia. I actually am very sympathetic to the idea that we have sufficient moral reasons to do a lot of the very demanding things that some of the philosophers out there say we have moral Reasons to do.
