The Disadvantages of Anti-Neighborliness

In a society that values commodity and wealth, those who do not have the means to acquire them are simply left behind. So I think that anti-neighborliness is shot through the dominant value systems of our society. And you cannot have a viable, sustainable society when you have large numbers of people who are excluded from access to the goodies of that society.
