The Disadvantages of Teaching and Research
"Academia is another great opportunity to like you know it's a good opportunity to teach and also I mean it should be ideal right. It's teaching and doing research but sadly the the structure of academia is a bit of a nightmare," he said. "I've had very bad professors but then they're like amazing researchers in terms of like they've got a lot of grants." He added that some people just don't care about improving their quality of reaching. But even though there are disadvantages, his career path still has advantages for those interested in both teaching and research.
