The Importance of Having an Engineering Background

I started freelancing as a designer and the way I have seen my journey sort of unfold so far. My engineering background came in really helpful because I was able to relate with the whole medium which was HTML, CSS and JavaScript. So at the end of the day, what I actually ended up doing was my focus was on design. But my engineering skills and the knowledge I had sort of helped me really empathize with the person who was a developer,. understand what the problems are, understand how they work.
