Aphrodite Was Not Out to Seduce Every God, and She Had No Agency

Aphrodite wasn't necessarily out to seduce every god, and possibly some of the goddesses in sight. But she was an unencumbered woman. She was a curia, that meant she was her own master or mistress. And there were other goddesses in the greek pantheon who were unattached to men and their own mistresses. These goddesses were kind of part of the eternal virginity club, as lord olympus says, and they had sworn off men. That made them not as much of a threat to the patriarchal status quo as an unmarried goddess who hadn't sworn offMen. Quite the opposite, Aphrodite was to be feared.
