I wanted to mention this phrase like honeymoon period which is interesting so I suppose it comes from when you get married right you go in your honeymoon and at the start of your your marriage everything's exciting and fresh and new. But sometimes maybe things will get a bit stale you might get a little bit bored it's not as exciting anymore and then the honeymoon period is over. For English learners listening now we can also use this phrase for other things right like moving to a new country you have a honeymoon period where it's all exciting and new and you've been there for about half a year.
