The Importance of Faith in the Eucharist
This is John chapter six. Many of his disciples return to their former way of life and no longer accompany them. This is the only time we ever have someone abandoning Jesus, a disciple abandoning Jesus over one of his teachings. To receive in faith the gift of the Eucharist is to receive the Lord himself.
