The Importance of Attribution Theory
Helena handker: I love attribution theory. It's especially how we have the mental gymnastics we use to keep ourselves happy in the face of overwhelming evidence that everything's gone. She looked at some work, which looked at summer versus winter borns and it turns out the summer borns are luckier than the winter borns. So anything that's positive, you think, yes, that's true. Anything that you've been the other way around, you're going, I don't believe a word of this theory.
