Study looked at Italians on a Mediterranean diet with moderate hypercholesterol, and low cardiovascular risk profile. They gave them three grams of beta glucans per day. It reduced LDLC cholesterol by 12.2% on baseline after just four weeks, and then 15% after eight weeks. Potentially, for cholesterol, doesn't appear to be beneficial for glucose in normal healthy individuals. But maybe for lipids, yes, absolutely. Same thing with cilium husk.
