The value of being committed to each other is so much bigger than the freedom of being uncommitted. A friend of mine who's a clinical psychologist said something really profound, I thought about marriage. And basically he says this is what causes marriages to collapse and basically resentment builds up. It's sort of this cultural question of sort of rights versus responsibilities.
