Studying in Canada
The majority of work permits that are out there are employer-driven. So, if you're sitting in a village in India or a city in China, how are you going to connect with a Canadian employer? If you come to Canada on a study permit, you now have an opportunity to work during the school breaks and get a study permit after you graduate. That is a very advantageous or strategic way to try and come to Canada. Not all schools are created equal. You need to go to a public college or university. They lead to very different work permit outcomes.
