Psychological flexibility is a cornerstone concept of what's called acceptance and commitment therapy accepting your emotions as they are but then moving forward towards valued goals in a committed way irrespective of what you feel in the moment. Give yourself space to think time to meditate time to pray time to strategize time to have important conversations with other people time to learn give yourself space where you're not constantly jumping to the next low level input it's interesting when you're driving on the roads these days if you hit a stoplight you look over the next person once someone has any form of space even 30 seconds they have to fill it with some form of input or distraction. It's better to give yourself space to slow
