Are the Bride and Groom Really the Ministers of the Sacrament of Matrimony?

Sed Contra: A Podcast of Catholic Theology

CHAPTER

Is There a Minister for the Sacramental Marriage?

In that case I'm wondering if that's not at least part of the theology behind wanting to claim that there are ministers for the sacramental marriage and even if it's not the priests there still has to be these sort of baptized members of the church as ministers. I'm not seeing the necessity there in your reasoning. It might again you might see here remember that marriage is again while it is a sacrament while it has this it makes those who have received it holy through through the Sacramental life which they share but then comes to an end in death right?
