Why Is the Moon Getting Faraway?

Pala garcia prieto asks, why is she leaving us? I assume referring to that the moon is getting farther away. Yes, so it's actually been happening for as long as the moon has existed. And i will do my best to explain those physics. The moon's gravity pulls on earth's oceans to cause an uneven distribution of water called a tidal bulge. A bulge of ocean water as the eart is rotating, is what makes high and low tides. It would be very differente thog if the moon was not there.
