Cream had realized that they needed to do different things in the studio and live. The album, eventually titled Disraeli Gears, was many things, but it wasn't a blues album. A version of the old musical song, Your Babies Gone Down the Plug-O, retitled Mother's Lament. Sunshine of Your Love became Cream's first and biggest US hit - reaching number five more than a year after being recorded.
