For the first time ever, a private group, rather than the whost city, would organize the olympics. Gilbert lindsey, a labor supporting democrat, said la should reopen its drunk tank farm from the sixties. The drunk tank farm, drunks and vagrants in the sixties were taken there and forced to grow vegetables and live there. Maybe we'll see the i o c grudgingly agrees to the privatization plan.
