Dempsky's Explanatory Filter
Behe: Dempsky's project focuses on what he calls the explanatory filter or EF. He claims one can reasonably infer that an aspect of the natural world has an intelligent cause. For example, a pile of rocks dropped scrabble letters that happened to spell bill, a puddle of rain. Behe: How do we distinguish these artifacts from things that don't seem to have resulted from an intelligent cause?
