Paul: I think a lot of people are a little bit scared of TCA's, maybe because of their recent time doing rotations in the ICU. But they're well tolerated by a lot of patients and there are indications for some. Noreptriptyline is not a great choice for monotherapy for insomnia, but if someone also has migraines, then it's one that at least concerning aging for her. The venlofaxine is not one that I had thought of as a migraine prophylaxis, but certainly a medication I have plenty of comfort withhave prescribed multiple times in the past.
