Sticking with things is literally like a way to build character, at least as far as we think about it. The heroes of the story are the ones who stick it out. And that's where these two things really come into play, kill criteria and grit. We have to tell the difference between things that are hard, but worthwhile, and things that arehard, but not worthwhile.
