Elizabeth's captors would say that what they were doing must be endorsed by god, or else, why would he let it happen? Even with police driving past and search parties within earshot,. How else were they able to walk around in salt lake city in public and not get caught? He used to bring newspaper articles or missing fliers from down in salt lake back to this hidden camp sight. They started making plans to leave salt lake and head to southern california. And i mean, he had his knife right there, the same knife that he kidnapped me with.
