I don't have all that much for home networking equipment partially because this place is small and there's not a lot of places to fit it. My Synology runs okay yeah it runs tail scale but they've also got quick connect available which either punches through NAT or just uses their relay which is slow. It's very rare now that I need to pull a file directly off of the Synology when I'm on the road and I can deal with the 15 20 megapixel hotel Wi-Fi if I need to.
