The Inefficiency of Running a Recording Studio
As a business enterprise right now, running recording studio is almost guaranteed to be a losing proposition. If you are in a place that has an active music scene but by sheer accident, doesn't have a recording cility, then you can probably make a living at it. But if you have to start from scratch, buy a building, build a studio in it and staff your studio, pay for the operation and maintenance that studio and making make a living off of it? Forget it. Now those days are over.
