The Importance of Having a Friendship Group
Jase: For me, it was all I ever knew. And then the day I walk into that, that speech and debate class, what they call it forensics in the Midwest. Then I'm watching like this whole other group of clever kids that were also supportive of me being an athlete. They were also a little bit, you know, flummoxed by it. It never felt welcomed in, in both groups and I loved both things equally.
