The Last of Us - Episode 6

I thought this was the perfect way to open what was an outstanding and deeply intense finale. We get a lot of these moments across the season. It made me think of an incursion in the MCU, this colliding of worlds into each other that is just deeply unworing but unlocks something for us. The second Ellie is born in draw's breath, she is blanketed by loss, but she's also a challenge to it. She represents for Anna here, for Joe later, like the one thing her parental figure would do anything to protect, no matter the cost.
