You know, my father used to talk about my little town where I grew up and he said that on Friday and Saturday night, the sidewalks were so thronged with people that you had to walk in the street. People were mixing that way naturally because they didn't have screens. You got to go sit out in your porch to get some breeze and there's no entertainment at home. They didn't even have radios. My father couldn't, couldn't own a radio, even though some of people had them by then. Probably had something to do with the before the air conditioner too. Right.
