Is the Google Closure Compiler Going Away?

Google Docs and Gmail would be unusable without closure compiler. Google is working on ways to make it easier for people to write TypeScript code that can work with closures. The company will keep using the tool as long as browsers need JavaScript, says Hiroshi Lockwood.
