The Groom of the Stool

Samantha Markle's dad, Tom, is a 73-year-old retiree living in a seaside town about a dozen miles south of Tijuana. The paparazzi descend on Tom like water jets at a car wash and they start publishing super unflattering pictures. When Megan grew up and struggled to launch her career, he put gas in her car so she could make it to auditions. They may not be super close anymore, but he's determined not to cause Megan any trouble in the press.
